Curaçao Gaming Control Board Updates Fees and Policies for Gaming Licenses
Summary: Curaçao Gaming Control Board Updates Fees and Policies for Gaming Licenses
The Curaçao Gaming Control Board (GCB) has introduced new fees and collection policies for gaming licenses, effective immediately. Key changes include:
New Fee Structure:
- A non-refundable license fee of NAF 36,000 (approx. EUR 18,360) is required upon issuance and annually. Monthly fees of NAF 7,000 (approx. EUR 3,570) also apply, with additional fees for each domain.
- Sub-licensees using the Orange Digital Seal must pay NAF 28,000 (approx. EUR 14,280), which is deducted from the total license fee once approved.
Invoicing and Payment:
- Invoices will be issued in EUR, and payments can be made in EUR or USDT stablecoin. Operators can opt to pay the annual fee upfront.
License Issuance Process:
- The license is granted once the initial fee is paid, and operators will be listed in the GCB’s license register. The Green Digital Seal is only usable after the license is fully granted.
Payment Deadlines:
- Initial invoices must be paid within 5 days, and monthly fees within 14 days. Repeated delays can lead to suspension and eventual revocation of the license.
Suspensions and Revocations:
- Licenses will be suspended or revoked if payments are not made within the set timeframes, with penalties reflected on the Green Digital Seal and public register.
Operators are urged to comply with the new policies to avoid disruptions.
